*The procedure shown is the only change which occurred. There is no guarantee that other persons will experience the same or similar result as the individual shown.

What is a non-surgical chin enhancement?

The procedure involves injecting dermal filler into precise areas of the chin in order to increase the length, width or projection of the chin depending on your individual requirements.

The injectable fillers used in non-surgical chin enhancement are injected in small amounts and in precise locations so that there is total control over the shape and contours created by the procedure.

Who is a good candidate non-surgical chin enhancement?

Any patient who desires an improvement in the size and shape of the chin may be suitable for non-surgical chin enhancement. Patients with a small or weak chin can improve the balance of their face by having this treatment.

Also, patients who have deformities of the chin either from birth or from injuries can achieve significant improvement without the pain, risk and recovery associated with surgery.

How is the treatment performed and is it painful?

An initial consultation with Dr. Joseph will determine the goals of treatment, make note of any associated abnormalities or asymmetry and plan the optimum non-surgical chin reshaping to achieve the ideal result in each patient.

Treatment is carried out in the clinic and takes 15 - 20 minutes. A local anaesthetic injection is used to ensure that the treatment is as comfortable as possible and little to no bruising should occur with the careful techniques used by Dr. Joseph.

When will I see results?

Improvement in chin shape and projection will be seen immediately following the treatment. Any mild swelling will resolve within one week.

The type of dermal filler used in the treatment will determine how long the results will last and this will be fully discussed at your initial consultation with Dr. Joseph.
